For more than thirty years I worked inside complex operational systems — pharmaceutical supply chains at Bristol Myers Squibb, dangerous goods logistics at the FAA level, multi-site IT infrastructure, export compliance across a dozen countries. The work was different in every role. The problem was always the same: the systems that held everything together were either nonexistent, undocumented, or living in one person's head.

I started Bagacaya because I watched that problem repeat itself in every founder-operated business I encountered — and because I knew exactly how to fix it. A business that can't run without you isn't a business. It's a job with more paperwork. The brand that doesn't represent what you actually built, the workflow that breaks when you step away, the digital infrastructure held together with workarounds — these aren't small problems. They're the ceiling.
